First and foremost, let’s manage our expectations.
It is, of course, to feel completely valid to want to feel beautiful and confident on your wedding day but your skin will always have texture and pores. Accepting that will make a realistic skin-care plan a whole lot easier.
So let’s take time to evaluate what your goals are- whether it be to reduce acne, increase collagen or elastin, or simply to hydrate your skin.
First time trying injectables. If you’re wanting to try something like botox or filler, do this as soon as possible! You can speak to your doctor about making a plan moving forward closer to your date if you do go this route.

If you have active acne, now is the time to see your dermatologist to create a plan to keep your blemishes at bay.
A tried-and-true way to treat acne, rough or congested skin, and hyperpigmentation issues is by applying retinoids, a vitamin-A derivative that, when used topically, increases cell turnover and makes way for fresh new cells to reach the surface of your skin. Retinoids also have the ability to increase skin’s production of collagen which will help smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

Get your final facial. This treatment will most likely be focused on keeping your skin hydrated and healthy. Avoid any kind of extractions or peels that might possibly leave the skin red or irritated.
I highly recommend getting your eyebrows either waxed or threaded and to remove any vellus hair (peach fuzz) you have on your face. This will help the makeup last longer and sit nicer on the skin.
The night before
Preparing your perfect canvas should be all about keeping it calm, moisturized and firm. This way I can focus more on enhancing your natural glow rather than concealing or correcting.

You want your makeup to photograph well, last long, and require minimal touchups- with that being said, opt for a water based moisturizer rather than oil or silicone based. Water-based formulas provide a light-weight, non greasy feel while deeply quenching the skin and locking down the pigment in your foundation, and are less likely to pill or separate your makeup.
Other than having your skin clean and moisturized on the day of, leave the rest up to me!
